Won my first Competition in my life.

I participated in the KUCC game jam hosted by Kathmandu UniversityΓÇöa place I was sad to know I wouldnΓÇÖt be able to attend, despite being one of the best in Nepal( Unfortuantely, I had to study abroad lol). During the jam, I developed Tiny Noir, a short pixel art detective game where players solve crimes by exploring scenes, talking to witnesses, and collecting evidence. Set in the Shopping Centre of Sunshine State, the game involves analyzing collected evidence through mini-games such as fingerprint matching, hacking, and reviewing surveillance footage.

In a bit of a stealth move, I managed to find my old game dev partner there, though I kept a low profile. Despite encountering some bugs, Tiny Noir earned me third prize. I genuinely believe it could have taken first place if not for those issues.

IΓÇÖm considering expanding Tiny Noir into a full-fledged web game, but with my current focus on other projects, thereΓÇÖs a chance it might be put on hold. For now, it's a proud achievement from the game jam and a reminder of the exciting possibilities in game development. Also first competition that I have won in IN MY LIFE. It also gave me a bit of a motivation afer wasting 3months with nothing to show for. Honestly it lifted me ever so slightly, because I had started loosing (IRL) and gave me hope. The hope compounded there after.
