Viscous Ventures was my second game and, quite possibly, one of my most commercially successful projects. It was a 2D, colorful action-adventure platformer, similar to Mario, and it took me about 2-3 months to code. I was really excited about this game, as it marked a significant step in my development journey.
I decided to release Viscous Ventures on the Android Play Store, using some "studio" tax moneyΓÇöwhich, in reality, was just my own money being taxed by a partner. Despite that, I was hopeful about its success.
Unfortunately, things took an unexpected turn. For reasons that were never fully explained, Google banned my app and permanently disabled my account. This essentially put an abrupt end to what could have been a promising Android development career, even before it had the chance to truly begin.
